UMD Dance Team will be hosting our first ever

WINTER DANCE SHOW!

This is a great way to showcase your team's Winter season dance/cheer performances. This is a great opportunity to bring together colleges and high schools to show their school spirit! (Dance Studios too!)

 

WHEN: 1:00pm January 23, 2010 (Saturday)

WHERE: Romano Gym at the UMD Campus: 1049 University Drive, Duluth, MN 55812

WHO: Colleges and High School Cheer Squads & Dance Teams

COST: Free Registration!

 

Information for Spectators:

Doors will open to all spectators at exactly 12:30 pm. If spectators arrive before that, they will be able to wait in the lobby of the Romano Gym.

Tickets are:

$7.00 for adults
$3.00 for students/kids (students must have their U-card with them)

The show will start at 1:00 pm, with a short 10-minute intermission, and last approximately an two hours. Concessions, flowers and t-shirts will be on sale in the lobby.

 

 

Information for Directors and Dancers:

Teams and coaches should arrive between 10:30AM-11:00AM. There will be an opportunity to mark, but it will be first come, first serve. And doors will open to the public at 12:30PM.

The registration forms are to be filled out for every dance so that we can make a program and have information for our DJ to announce before every performance. Please make a separate copy for each dance. The registration forms are due January 8th so we can account for all dances that will be in the show. Along with the registration form, please send a copy of your music (CD form). On CD please list school and song title.  After sending in your music also please bring an additional copy of your music IN CD FORM ONLY .

  • Dancers will have a dressing room where they change and keep their things. Only dancers and coach/directors are allowed in this area, parents must remain in the lobby or the gym.
  • Concessions, flowers and t-shirts will be on sale in the lobby.
  • A trainer will be on site and available for dancers. If you need a trainer please see a member of the UMD Dance Team and one of us will direct you to the trainer.
